Pig Launchers
A Pig Launcher is a fabricated assembly used to launch Pigs inside Crude Oil, Petroleum Products or Gas Pipelines. A Pig refers to a device that is used to perform multiple maintenance operations such as cleaning and inspection inside the pipelines. Pig Launchers generally have a quick access opening to insert the Pig along with bypasses and pressure safety devices. Pig Receivers are similar but are designed to retrieve a Pig at the end of the section of pipeline.
